Another tsunami poem

by Sinister Soire   Jan 5, 2005

The tragedy of the events
Has set the world rolling
This is spent in solemn silence
And money spent to help

The lives were lost in rapid time
And many with graves of water
The ones recovered are remembered
The lost are more so mourned

We can only sit and pray
That it will all turn out better
We cannot control this world
Not even the slightest bit

We may only try to help the ones
That we have lost and miss
And try to remember the ones lost
And bless them and our gift of life

Very well written, Logan. The words "We cannot control the world" are so true. Within the world we only have control over our own actions.
