Second of Peace

Lost, I cant find my way.
Into the darkness,
I have been led astray.

Will I ever find peace?
This I may never know,
my light has been dimmed,
to one faint glow.

I close my eyes,
and take in the pain.
These cuts on my arm,
they keep me sane.

As the blood runs down my arm,
as it drips to the ground,
All of the pain seems to stop,
a second of peace I have found.
