Pop Quiz

Not listening
Or taking notes
Mind's in space
Away it floats

I'm almost asleep
When the teacher calls out
Something very terrible
Without a shadow of a doubt

"Put away your books,
Take out paper and a pen.
Clear your desks,
And let the quiz begin"

As soon as every desk is cleared
And all books are put away
The teacher begins to call out questions
How i wish i wasn't here today

I don't know the answers
Its another quiz i will fail
I get one after another wrong
I wont get an a on our grade scale

My parents will get mad
I will be in trouble
This quiz is bad
It burst my happy bubble

I've opened my book now
And started paying attention
Amazing what you can learn
In class not to mention.
