I lie in bed
Each and every night
Spill the thoughts from my head
Show how dark is my light

How many times now?
I plead with you to cure this
You say you don’t know how
Give me a hug, give me a kiss

Show me love once more
I thought we’d moved on
What was all that talking for?
If in my heart, you feel gone?

Mom, last year
You finally showed affection
Now see this tear?
Cos now it’s turned to rejection

I’ve told you, crying
How I’d die without you
Well now I am dying
Cos your love doesn’t show through

Now I’m doubting again
If it’s even there
You know I’m in so much pain
So show me that you care!
