Team 45 Friends

by Nici   Jan 8, 2005

This is a poem that I was asked to write for college about my course and the people on it.

I know that it needs some work.

Goodbye and thanks to the friends that I’ve made
The memories we share are sure not to fade.
Climbing, bag packing and all Dale’s poor jokes.
I’ve had a heck of a time with all of you folks.

To Rob the man who finds everything funny.
His constant smiling, makes every day sunny.
And Dale whose ear is stuck to the phone,
With terrible jokes, he’s in a world of his own.

Jenna is next with much poise and flare,
Obsessing with pink and perfecting her hair.
Next in the group is Micky ‘Blue Eyes’
The most sensible one of all of us guys.

But wait, at last Wayne enters in,
Late as usual and wearing that grin.
Martine is going mad in the Team Room with us,
Yet she plods on through the twelve weeks of fuss.

To each one of you, the time that we’ve shared,
The ups and the downs, those times we were scared.
I thank you and hope that we all meet again,
A new time, a new place, the question is when?

i think that the second line could be changed to "these memories we share will be slow to fade" but besides that i have no other comments, and thats not even really worth mentioning, its great, keep it up
