When WILL WE?

Dedicated to all of the Soldiers, to all of those who are going through a difficult time in their countries...God Bless All...MAY this New Year Bring Peace on EARTH...

I woke up this morning, and I turned on the TV.
Turned on the News Channel-Nothing to my
Personal surprise, there it all was-
Another disaster has hit this old world of ours
And tears are shared between those who felt the pain,
Another soul or two, or, hundreds announced dead.
And I sit across from the TV set and wonder-
When will the world be a peaceful place,
When will the wars end-when will all the Soldiers come
Home?

When will it ever end, when will each and every one of us
Wake up without fear pierced in our heart, when will we?
When will we say, I love you to one another without fear
Or worry that we won’t be loved back, when will we see that
The simplest things in life are the things that matter Most,
When will we just breathe, take in the breath that God created
FREELY-
Without having to pay someone whose breathing that same air?

When will we believe that only we as human can stop all the
Destructiveness around the world, and that if we had just
A bit more faith in the God above, that all that we see to be
Evil will turn to Good, Because of our heard prayers by the Lord-
When will all of us just all of us begin to believe-that above us there
IS a greater power, greater spirit that can make all of this wickedness to
Easily disappear-when will we?

When will all the Soldiers Come home?
When will people around the world
Live their lives freely-when will all the Bombs
Stop exploding-when will we?
When will All drama around the world call it
Quits? And will we just begin to love one another
Without fear? When will we?
When will we stop hearing about children dying,
Soldiers dying, mothers crying-when will we?
When will hear that everyone is happy-and
That no one is in need for food, medical or
For Financial Support...when will we?

When will we learn that time is precious-
That the days are short-that God will soon
Call all of us home-when will we begin to
Let go and Let God-when will we learn How
To humble our selves and be at peace with all...
When will we?

I Pray and Pray for all the pain to somehow
Disappear...I pray and Pray that God hears
All of our pleas...I pray for you and Me as
The question will still remain
When will WE ?
