There For You

Sometimes I wish I could say
I'll be there for you every second of every day
That you can count on me
To help you in every way
To pick you up when you feel week
To hold you when you're feeling down
I would give you my life
Before yours hit the ground
And still with all these hopes
I am so far away
Theres nothing much I can do
And not much I could say
But "I love you" in a way
That I'm your friend
And I'll be there till your last day
To the very end
No matter what happens,
Through thick and though thin.
Together we'll make it past this darkness
And fight this sin

Theres so many more words I want to get out and off my mind
Maybe someday I'll find the right way to tell you
But for now I want you to know I truly think your special
And ever since we met that night, I can't picture life with out you.

*Side Note* This is a totally different type of poem than I'm familiar with so bare with me because I know it doesn't flow to well. Besides it's the meaning that counts right? LoL. I'm not used to writing "cheer up" poems, but I'll make an exception for this certain person. ;)
