Over The Edge, Then Under The Earth

by ♥-Sharon Ardern-♥   Jan 9, 2005

Falling back
Falling down
Hitting black
Without a sound

Agonizing
Completely stuck
Paralyzing
Out of luck

Too far gone
Empty space
Can’t move on
Can’t find my place

Hollow
Yet fit to burst
No one to follow
How much I thirst

Hungry
Almost dead
Is this me?
Rather be dreaming instead

Getting thin
Slicing up my arm
Can’t keep it in
Can’t stay calm

Falling so fast
My whole sordid life
Flashing past
Gripping a knife

Sad eyes crying
Broken heart withering
Am I dying?
As I lie here shivering

Need to think
No, can’t, must not
Need to drink
No, let me rot

Help! Help me!
No, ssh, hide
They mustn’t see
Wait for suicide

Can’t they save me?
No! nobody can
Look what they gave you
You left it and ran

I know, I know
It’s my fault, I understand
I have to go …
Don’t worry, it’s all in hand

Look there’s the artery
Just one slice
You sure they won’t miss me?
But yes, death would be nice …

I did it, I cut through
Look at the blood! See I bleed?
Anything else to do?
No, there’s nothing else I need

Just lie here, wait
They’ll come in an hour or two
But it’ll be too late …
That’s it! That’s the end of you.
