If you only knew

by Jessica   Jan 9, 2005

If you only knew how much you hurt,
If you only knew how to change,
If you only knew that what you had,
could soon leave, leaving all the pain

Thinking how it would be,
to take a brake and let you live the pain,
Would only let you know, what you didnt have to loose or what you had to gain

With you not knowing, beleiving or understanding only leads us farther,
farther from you and the tears you cause, and farther from all the
flaus

The only question i ask is how can you not know? and if you only knew....what could you have to show.

  • I see you are new to the site. Welcome! lol I am proud to give you your first comment/vote. I like this poem a lot. You have definite potential. You have a spelling error, "flaus" is spelt "flaws". Another tip I have is to try to make the lines about the same amount of syllibles. I like the ending a lot. This is a great start to hopefully a future writer. Keep up the good work and I look foward to another poem by you. =]
