You're Dead, Like You Wanted.

Quietly
Slip outside
Don’t let them see
The blade you hide

And the rope
Tucked under your shirt
Cos they still hope
They can cure your hurt

But you know
It’s all gone
It’s time to go
No more holding on

Run down the street fast
Keep running away
Run from the past
Run cos you can’t stay

You put a veil over the pain
But the holes began to show
And you cried in vain
Cos they’ll never know …

That secret hidden inside
Remember that night?
He thought you died …
Since, nothing’s gone right

He stole so much,. And now
He’s making you steal your life
They never understand how
You can easily use that knife

But what else is there …
But to run, cut, run, cut, run
Even if they care …
They can’t see what you’ve become

So keep running, go on
Till you find your spot
Adequately right but wrong
In the graveyard … you never forgot

This was the place
Where it happened to you
Now wipe the tears from your face
Do what you have to do

You’ve run far enough
Now, look there’s the tree
Life’s been so tough
But you can set yourself free

That’s it, tie the rope
Slit your skin
There is no hope
Just the pain within

Your dangling there
Split second more
Oh my god … they really care
Too late. Should have seen it before.
