I miss you dad

by Paula   Jan 10, 2005

I remember I was only three
My father said goodbye to me
I would see him every other weekend
I would Saviour every moment we'd spend
I would cry without him
and yell at my mom
say it was her fault
that dad was gone
I'd beg her just to let him come back
For he was the one who kept me on track
My mom explained it just wouldn't work
She told me he was stupid, and that he was a jerk
After a while I would see my dad less and less
I started to develop lots of stress
My dad started drinking
He was always drunk
He got caught driving one night
He had drank and did some other junk
six months later, he went to jail
This is when my life started to fail
Ever since then my dads always drunk
What I'm about to say is true
Dad you were my hero
and If you see this remember I love you.
