Misery & Company

by ALEXANDRA JOSE   Jan 10, 2005

He is now finally alone.
His hand gripped around a rose.
The thorns sink into his hand.
He wants to be the one who understands.
He’s counting his blessings; avoiding sin.
She’s boiling inside and ripping the skin.
The blood is dripping from her lips.
Now mixing with her crimson lipstick.
He’s too weak to try and fight her.
Her tears smear her think black eyeliner.
She wants to die, she’ll do anything.
He’d die for her, he’d give her everything.
She’s a tease and she loves to flirt.
He loves her so much that it hurts.
When she wants something she’ll smile and call him babe.
She gets all starry eyed and it drives him insane.
She knows that for her he would give everything up
So she tortures him by saying that’s he just wants to be loved.
She lies awake crying all the while
He stays up dreaming of her smile.
He means nothing to her, he was just a summer fling.
She the world to him, she’s his everything.
She’ll break your heart and take it from me.
SHE’S MISERABLE & MISERY LOVES COMPANY.
