Very different perspective. Touching. Revealed alot of parrallels in my life too. I don't really like the actual poem though, because I prefer rhyming poems. However, this doesn't really affect the message behind it at all. Very cleverly written poem, great job. Well done, Take care :)

i love it when people use big words....it makes it sound better even if the word doesnt fit...lol..nice job!

It was good. My favorite lines are "Once, it was young
standing majestically over all.
Its sharp peak thrust upward,
reaching to the heavens."
I liked how you described it.
However, i did feel there was something missing in this poem. I think maybe if you expand on your idea. Also it needs to be a little more 'gripping'. If all lines where as good as those four, this would be a brilliant poem. I did like the ending, but again those three lines, i feel, didn't say enough. Just some things to think about, it's up to you if you take them on board. Thanks for sharing. Keep writing, keep improving.

To me, this poem made you think about life. I thought it was pretty deep. You're really talented.
