Seasons

Seasons come
Seasons go
Seeds of Spring
Summer’s glow
Autumn’s leaves
Winter’s wind

Spring has bumblebees
Fruit and rain
Earth and dirt
Earn its name
Slowly green touches trees
A door is opening
Spring is keys

Summer comes
With sun and fun
Heat and chums
Flowers grow
And people know
The door is now open

Leaves turn color
The earth’s mother
Takes a rest
All is dying
Birds are flying
Autumn closes the door

Winter storm
Bitter cold
Snow clouds form
Ice is hard
Stone is cold
Winter’s old
Winter locks the door

All life goes through each season
Heart, soul, and mind
But there is a specific reason
You will find
It’s all a part of growing
