I did not die.

by Samantha (Sam)   Jan 11, 2005

Do not stand by my grave & weep,

I am not there.

I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am a diamond glint on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awake in the morning hush,

I am the swift up-flinging rush

of quiet birds in circling flight.

I am the soft star that shine's at night.

Do not stand by my grave & cry.

I am not there.

I did not die.

My brother died the day before thanksgiving last year & this poem was said @ his funneral & I thought it was beautiful so I just wanted to submit it.

My Brother would have been 19 today....
