Goodbye for Good

The day goes by
And no one knows
That deep inside
She feels she must go.

Later that day
She writes it all
That she loves her family
But still things went wrong.

If only they knew
How she felt
Then maybe this girl
Could have dealt.

But she still finds the gun
And points it to her head
Taking her final breath
And BOOM! She's dead.

Her parents come home that night
To come home to a terrible surprise
That their very own daughter
Took her own life and dies.

They sadly read the note
With very trembling hands
Both reading the note
And this is what it said:

"Mom and Dad I loved you,
And I hoped you loved me too
But things started happening
That you couldn't stop or do."

"We have been through a lot,
And this is one other thing that will pass
Please don't let this stop you
Keeping you from having a blast."

"I loved you before I did this
And I'll love you while I'm gone
So now I end this note
Goodbye for now I am gone."
