Letters Left Unread

by Driver   Jan 13, 2005

With each passing moment, my pain grows.
It tears me apart, but no one even knows.
Memories I have now slowly start to fade.
Along with the good times that we made.

My hatred is shut off, no longer revealed.
It’s long gone, permanently sealed.
The blade across my wrist is all I feel.
My heart gives way as I feel the cold steel.

Sorrow is born in my heart, with nothing to do.
I dream and wish only of being with you.
Tears fall silently from my face.
I just wish that I could feel your embrace.

Pain, sorrow, hatred, and tears are all I can be.
I just wish you would look down and see.
That I give my life away, in the letters left unread.
As the thoughts of you run through my head.
