You said you forever loved me,
But I guess you changed your mind.

You promised you would always hold me,
But no arms are extended.

You said you would never make me cry,
But tears have been falling for such a long time.

You said you would always be here,
But no one is around.

You said that you would never leave me,
But no one is by my side.

You said I was the one for you to marry,
But no wedding bells will chime.

You said you would be here to help me with my problems,
But my problems are stacking up.

You said we would over come our fights,
But that’s what had broke us up.

You should have known I still love you,
But you gave me no time to say it aloud.

You said that you loved me,
But I guess you changed your mine,

All the broken promises I know hold,
You said that you would never leave me,

So why did you kill yourself,
Leaving me behind?
