The Last Night

by Lady Vamp   Jan 14, 2005

A rose,
A red rose,
As red as my blood,
Couldn’t stop me now.
A kiss,
Just a kiss,
A kiss from the one I care for,
Will not stop me now,
I am at the end,
The end of long troubles,
Tonight the cut will bleed,
Until I die,
A quick slip of the knife,
And I feel his breath,
I feel Death’s breath,
On the back of my neck,
“Take me away.”,
I whisper,
I feel his arms,
His chilly ice arms,
Wrapping around me,
It’s tell to fly,
Away from this world,
Over I fly with him,
Over the willows,
Whispering willows of childhood,
Over the field of lost dreams,
To a place with silver shores,
And golden places,
And that is left of me,
In the other world,
The world of the living,
Is a stone with my name,
And a rose,
A red rose,
As red as the blood I cried,
I cried on the last night
