Traitor You Can't Keep Me Here

by ♥-Sharon Ardern-♥   Jan 14, 2005

Every time a tear touches my face
I welcome it to fall with grace
Smiles just feel so out of place

And if I trip and fall down flat
I’ll cry right there where I’m sat
Cos what you did, I remember that

So haunted so bereaved
Can’t stand I was deceived
You swept away all I believed

Looking in your eyes for charm
But instead you cause me harm
And I try so hard to keep my calm

But in the shape of everything done
You’re pretty odd and you’re the only one
Who could have stopped what I’ve become

But I guess your ‘sorry’ comes to late
Cos bleeding now I sit and wait
Still you offer me your heart on a plate

But I must turn away cos it’s foretold
That you won’t paint my world gold
And you can’t help my anxieties unfold

So goodbye, and good riddance, too
I have enough things I found to be not true
So the last thing I need is more from you

Now you may protest at my resign
But I’m telling you this is it this time
It’s goodbye, death WILL be mine.
