To my life – destruction you’ve brought

In this bitter reality

I walk the same old road
Day after day
The one I’ve been on for years

Your name running through my mind
Until the day you return

My eyes glaze over as if I’m in a trance
Your face, your eyes, fading into the distance
I walk through my memories with only one purpose
Looking for your face, within my mind
