What I want

by ~*^*~ longing to belong ~*^*~   Jan 15, 2005

I don’t fit in,
This happy world of yours,
I don’t fit in,
I have to many flaws.
I’m not rich,
Or exciting, or cool,
I don’t want to bi tch,
Or be a tool,

I want to be me,
Not hide behind a mask,
I want you to see,
Without having to ask.
I want to be true,
Not this cruel pretence,
I want to be through,
This fiery hell of suspense,

But what I want doesn’t make any difference.
