A World Lost

by Kylie   Jan 19, 2005

Shifting, changing
a world rearranging
faceless people walking about
trapped with no identity, can't get out

No mouths, no eyes
just secrets and lies
hidden once again
in their torment, their disguise

They thrive on confusion
any aspect of dillusion
Dishonesty, their vaccine
thinking filth will make them clean

They can scream all day long
but it comes out all wrong
scrambled, muttered words
they don't know they can't be heard

You probably think
this world is make believe
But what you don't know
is that you've been decieved

It's this world I speak of
when I say "A World Lost"
and it's this life I speak of
when I speak of the cost...
