Such is the Power of Friendship

by Tashan   Jan 19, 2005

And such is the power of friendship
That it works in mysterious ways
Without care and room to grow
It slips away and decays

A working progress it may seem
But in the end it’s worthwhile
With all the tears and memories shared
And problems wiped out by a smile

Although it is a two-way street
The paths merge into one
And through all the victory and defeat
There’s always room for fun

With all the years of closeness
There forms a special bond
But not always can problems be taken away
By waving a magic wand

But this is the nature of friendship,
It takes conflicts to build it strong
And trusting that your friend will never
Hurt or do you wrong

If I always help and give to you
And do it constantly,
Won’t you be the one to sometimes
Do the same for me?
