One year ago
on this very day
our eyes had met
and seemed to say.......

"I want to meet you.
You seem sincere
What is your name
Why are you here?"

After some talking
and some flirting too
We knew this was right
me and you

For months and months
the time flew by
our like grew to love
and everything was fine

I loved you
and you loved me
we were both happy
or so it seemed

Those last few weeks
there was some trouble
someone had finally
popped our bubble

We walked on eggshells
you and me
but we were still together
for our love ran deep

I knew you were sad
Now I was too
None of that mattered
because I loved you

I tried to help
but to no avail
I was losing my grip
I was going to fail

And then it happened
this I knew
Instead of one
we were now me and you

Today was one year
but you didn't know
and today you decided
to let me go.
