The day will come!!

I will walk up to you
When the dawn of merry comes
Haven’t told a soul our lies
And how we failed with truth

The trials of my soul abound
I sing this sad poem of remorse
When good elude me like slippery pearl
Yet I never will give up

The day we made the promise
To secure the truth round us
And to live worthy, void of truce
Giving the best for the rest

I look to the moment we’ll dine
Pick grapes and make some wine
The day well dance and sing
With resonance the melody ring

I believe the day will come
When winter will end its maze
Another chapter of life opened
And still another day comes.
