Cloudy Skies

by Sherry Lynn   Jan 23, 2005

CLOUDY SKIES

The clouds slowly ascend
Blocking the rays of the sun
Though there is light
The golden sparkle hides
Leaving emptiness all around
The clouds move along
Allowing a glittery shine to prevail
The world seems brighter
If only for a moment
Til the next cloud drifts in
