We All Scream...

by Falling Up   Jan 23, 2005

When we were young, rocky road and fudge used to solve all of life's problems.
If only life was still that way.
Now we eat a tub of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream,
in front of the TV watching re-runs, even though we know it won't solve our problems.
life used to be so easy... What happened?
I Scream...
I feel like punching a hole in the wall, but instead i head to the freezer and
reach for double chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
and eat every last spoonful.
I sit there, and eat away my problems.
The ice cream is all of my problems.
U Scream..
Wishing that all of the bad and hurtful things ever done,
would just melt away, like hot gooey caramel sauce,
over an extra large strawberry sundae with sprinkles on top.
We All Scream...
Wanting to be innocent like we all once were.
So we lick the spoon, until there's not a speck of hot fudge left on it,
Or in the bottomless bowl of lies, and scream
We scream.
We all scream..
For ice cream.
