Facing the darkness

by Shelby G.   Jan 24, 2005

Down the darkest hole I fall
Once again I reach that wall
Facing again that dark illusion
Of fear and terror and confusion
I'm caged under a dark rain cloud
Hearing screams, faint but loud
I cry a waterfall of salted tears
Hoping to drown these horrid fears
My running shows my sould is weak
As they say "I've struck a leak"
But why run away when you can fight
Take to the fists instead of flight
If I'm to lose, consumed by hate
Then Its death that seals my fate
Live or dead, you just can't tell
When your focused on the flames of hell
Right now theres no way to retreat
So for now I admit defeat
Because I can't defeat my wall
All I do is fall and fall
