Won't Let You See Me Cry

Tears stream down my face,
all your cold words I try and replace
with memories of you and I,
the days before you made me cry.

Pain is all I know now,
the pain you see in my eyes,
you try and deny you caused it all
told them so many times before,
now you even believe your lies.

I try and laugh it off,
I try and play it cool,
but everyone knows I'm still In love with you. You try and forget me, try to forget the times...
but when your lying in your bed alone, your wishing i was by your side.

My heart aches,
my hands are shaky all the time.
I'm so confused and so hurt
thinking of every lie.
I try to convince myself,
it's going to be okay.
But I can't help but remember you,
and how I will never be the same.

I coldly look back at all the plans that we had. I try and forget the first time you made me sad. As the tears roll down,
I sadly recall the time you first made me cry, I remember thinking, "Why don't I just die?" You raised your voice at me,
made me feel so low.
If you ever really loved me,
that I'll never know.

for the last time...
