The tales of her scars...

by sarah k   Jan 25, 2005

Each scar holds a story that only she knows
She tries to make sure that they never show
but today i will tell you the stories they hide
and all of the pain that they've caused her inside.
Behold the left wrist, the home of the first,
The stories found here, by far, are the worst.
From the mother that hates her, to her friends that don't care,
The love she can't have and her life that's not fair.
the grades that are slipping, her drinking alone,
the dis functional family and coming home stoned.
Relief of these problems were caused by a knife
It's the only thing stopping her from taking her life.
The right wrist's less detailed, a few stories here
but don't you be fooled for they're scars lined with fear.
These scars show her fear that this pain will not end
and also the fears that her knife's her last friend.
But the deepest of cuts is what puts her to shame
for she placed this cut here 'cuz she feels she's to blame.
So she rolls down her sleeves so no one can see
the cuts and the stories that are really from me.
