Where I end you begin

by Mimi112   Jan 27, 2005

Where I end you begin
I'm here with my bottle of gin,
Trying to think how could you be
So cruel, so terrible. I can't see.
You were my everything, my all.
With you I could stand tall.
I thought I could be strong,
But you kept doing me wrong.
Today I know I'm over you,
How I did it, I have no clue.
Point is, I'm finally happy.
And it all happened so easily.
Maybe because it wasn't true love
And that I wasn't that high above.
In my mind you were the best
But now I can finally rest
Because I know you're messed up inside
In you, I could never ever confide.

Hmmm... I like it, but it seems to need a bit more consistency in the line length when reading it out loud. 4!
