Memorable Hugs

by Christina Gomes   Jan 28, 2005

Same thing happens every time
You become the one that floats in my mind's thought
You bring a smile to my face
And a tingle that erases the reasons we fought

You make me forget all my problems
The tears, pain, and blood
I can't stop thinking about you
Our love is blooming from a small bud

A friendship that started it all
Laughs jokes and being a tease
Grew to holding hands and giving kisses
All from feelings that only the two of us sees

Everlasting memorable hugs
You held me gently and spoke in whispers
Making the rest of the world disappear
Not realizing anything that occurs

Your picture was placed in a heart
Both the one that hung from my neck
And my own beating love
I locked you in so you can’t leave, otherwise I’ll fall into a wreck

Your kiss, your stare
But mostly your hug
The things I’ll always remember
Even when my grave has been dug

You held me in your arms
Made me fall into a trance
I was crazily in your love
And I couldn’t help but glance

I spent half the day thinking about you
The other half talking and melting
You gave me a feeling I can’t describe
And I'm so sure I’ll never leave behind this feeling
