I thought about you over my holidays
My friend you often crossed my mind
I wished you the merriest Christmas
And that to you the coming year would be kind…
I prayed that god did keep you safe
And a watchful eye on your family too
Not a single day passed me by Chelsey
That I didn’t save a special thought for you…
I hope that you enjoyed yourself
A holiday full of happiness and fun
I remembered you’d be having a white Christmas
While I was baking in the Australian sun…
I considered how long we had been friends
How quickly time had passed us both by
How short life is and special you are to me
It made me want to break down and cry…
I missed you so much these past weeks
Girl they seemed to drag and take forever
So much I even had a dream Chelsey
Of the day when you and I finally get to hang out together…
I want to thank you for your precious friendship
For your help and support through out this year
Always being there when I needed a friend
I hope you know I am always here…
I can never begin to repay you
For all the beautiful joy you have brought to me
I love you girl and you’re the best little sister
That I could ever wish you to be…

    hey great poem you make your feelings very obvious and the poem is reads as if it is just a personal letter from you to your friend but keeps that poetical flow that is evident in all of your writting congratulations again..

    actually i had a white christmas to, or as close as far more snowy here in germany than the regular 35 or so christmas day that im used to back home in australia... anyway glad to see the joy that this writting seems to emit..

    oh f'ing wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! You do know how to make me cry!!! Eirisa I have no idea what to say..I am bawling...I just want to thank you up and down..LIke Leanne said youa re so special to me that now we met I don't even know what it would be like without you! Without hearing your kind words or your funny storys or to even here you say I love you lil sis! You are everything in what a little sister needs in a big sister..ANd I am so thankful for that..God has given you a wonderful gift and you have touched me and everyone else so deeply!!! If only there were people like you that could care so much about a person!! This poem once again was one of the best!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! Always a fan!
