The Sky Has Never Looked So Orange

Autumn's colors fading into a winter song
Losing color, losing life - dead, yet full of hope
The vast grey above my knees silences the voices
Eyelids frozen shut, beauty trails away into the sky
I have fallen into deep conversation with Love
Understanding calms the death lost inside
I cry out to Him with praise and joy
My life begins to restore.
