Do you truely love me?

by Sarah-Louise   Feb 2, 2005

Why do you do it,
Why play games with my head,
You know that I'm fragile,
After what you had said.
I need to know what you're thinking,
'Cause my mind's all a blur,
I need to know if it's me,
Or if you're really with her.
You turn up at my doorstep,
Leave your bike parked out front,
Come in, talk it over,
My heart's on a hunt.
You tell me you love me,
And you're sorry you lied,
I sit, trying to believe you,
Gazing into your eyes.
You know I still love you,
And you know I still cry,
Every minute, every second,
Without you by my side.
I cant forget how you'd treat me,
When we first got together,
I thought I'd be happy,
Locked on your arm forever,
But then things they did change,
And my heart felt so rough,
After the pain and the tears,
I found enough was enough.
But now as you're standing,
Right here in my face,
All those good times we shared,
No one could ever replace.
So just give me a while,
Let me think it through,
I don't know if I'll ever,
Again truly trust you.
You know I'm here if you need me,
Right up 'till the end,
But I don't think I could handle,
Being more than just friends.

So even though that I love you,
'Till my death dear Wesley,
The question I ask you,
Is do you truly love me?
