It hurts more than it pleases, yet i cant give it up
Because you mean more to me than you'll ever know
And i just cant let you go.

Why wont you ever talk about the things that matter to me
You never argue, raise your voice
So i give up, i have no choice

You talk of love as if you know it all and as if i have no idea
Ive been hurt beyond pain ever known
And since that hurt a i haven't grown

Sometimes at night i lie still and i drown in tears as i cry
Because i know I'm not what you need
And every time you cry i bleed

I wanna make you see what i mean that i know you love me all you can
But you're determined to change the subject
no matter how much i object.
