Lost In Time

I sit here at my window,
to watch the rain come down,
it's tapping on my window,
making a hypnotic sound.
What happened to yesterday,
and the plans I had ahead?
I hear my prayer; it echos,
every single word I said.

Oh this time,
it's seems my mind,
has lost it's way,
it's lost in time.

I'm here, lost in time,
and i don't know where i am,
no one to help me focus,
or holding out a hand.
I'm spinning round in circles,
hoping soon I'll fall to the ground,
and I'll wake up in the morning,
but this time I'll be found.

My mother always told me,
to try and do my best,
but this time that's not the answer,
i continue on to rest.
It's as if my life's a dream now,
nothing here is real,
except the tears still falling,
and the emotions that i feel.
