I Won't Tell Her

I really like you as my boyfriend,
Things aren't happening as I intend.
My friend who knows you,
Says I don't know you.
But I know you enough,
She makes it so tough.
To mention your name,
It's always the same.
She talks about you,
She says mean things too.
I don't want to say,
That I feel okay.
Because that's a lie,
Then she'll say bye.
I want her as a friend,
But if I say will it mend?
I want to say what I feel,
But she might rip and not heal.
I hate the way she says things about you,
Its not fair how I can't speak my mind how I want to.
I want to tell her to shut up but no,
It's not going to happen because when I let it show.
She makes it a big deal and tells me I don't know you,
But in my own special way I know you, I do!
So she needs to just not bring it up anymore,
Becuase I don't intend to make her feel sore.
