What if you

by Timothy   Feb 4, 2005

There's a lot of wishing in this world,
"I wish she" and "I wish he";
Men don't have a clue about women and vice versa,
Love never seems to agree.

I think mountains we have climbed,
And burning deserts we have crossed;
The moon and back we have traversed,
Trying to regain in each other what we lost.

I know we have succeeded,
At least, to an extent;
But am I a despicable man,
To reveal that I am not content?

What if you could always be straightforward?
What if you could make this single feel like there's two?
What if you could divulge your emotion?
What if you could show me the real you?
