The teddy sits
In a corner
Avoiding eye contact

The song moves
Through the mess
And gets lost

The lights are
Patterned like
A group of dancers

A branch or two
Watching out
For the moon

My posters scream
My pillows yawn
And my teddies yearn

A hat waits
To be moved
Nearer the bracelet

Wriggling toe
Is un-noticed
Until now

Carrying eggs
That can't be
Eaten or moved

Itch on a rainy
Window open
For air to them

Familiar voices
Foot stepping towards
My bathroom

Rashes for fat
Clothes for models
Hanging in sick

Heavy head
Sleepy eyes
Alert mind
