Keeping it Together

by Molly Elizabeth   Feb 5, 2005

Eight o'clock rolls by
you haven't even called
you left me alone in this world
you left me feeling small.

The night falls deeper
as I slip into this misery
a constant reminder
of all we used to be.

I guess you haven't changed
your with her again
and just as I would have guessed it
you are more then friends.

You take me for an idiot,
as a naive fool.
I guess it hurt at first
but I'm sure I can get over you.

I'm keeping it together
trying to think straight
wondering what happened to you
if this was all really fate.

You walk by,
without slight acknowledgment
makes me wonder and question
if your feelings were ever real,
I'm not sure how to feel.
