A new beginning is now the end

A child alone, so broken and cold
No more dreams, my soul is sold
My wishes dead, my pride has gone
My mind alone, is like a gun
Enough to kill, enough to fear
Due to all the pain, through out the years
My face is numb, my hands they shake
What’s happened to me, I am so weak
The lights are dim, inside my room
Wish I could die, and leave here soon
So condescending, this masquerade
