I Remember When the Sky Was Clean and Sex Was Dirty

by Caleb   Feb 7, 2005

I was murdered in the womb of emotions,
Nailed to the wall of depression
The wings of an alternate heart
Embrace your sorrow so swiftly
Oh, how beautiful it can be;
Oh, how painful it is...

I stare...
Mourning to the lack of death,
Singing the silent hymn of helplessness
Please, God -
End this daze; let me die!

I lay as though I am a star upon a flag,
Shot by the vision of entwined perfection
The lips of divine magnificence
Graze amongst the wolves' smiles
Oh, how beautiful it can be;
Oh, how painful it is...

    !!! awesome poem!!! i love it!! and i remember too when sex was dirty. of course, marital sex wasn't dirty, it was sex B4 marriage that was looked down on. our generation is way out of whack in their thinking. we take for granted that pre-marital sex is the same as sex inside marriage. it's not. sex inside a marriage has a whole lot more blessings. plus you don't get std's. unless your spouse has already been diagnosed w/ one.
    keep up the good work!!!

    Could you please go into detail about the way my poem fell apart at the end? I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks,
