Sayings

by Idiosyncratic   Feb 9, 2005

What a tangled web we weave
what we get is what see
when first we practice to deceive
crouch and wait for them to leave

a cat has nine lives
who said it wanted them?
curiosity killed the cat
maybe death was the goal of that
satisfaction brought it back
satisfaction of cheating death?

no use crying
though everyone is dying
over spilt milk
be it red or white

you can lead a horse to water
and to it's endless, brutal slaughter
but you can't make it drink
it's poison from that sink

the early bird
the first to rise
catches the worm
the first to die

the pen
to free your mind
is mightier then the sword
to free your life

better safe
and free of harm
then sorry
and having no alarm

PLEASE comment

(and yes, I know that i didn't make the whole thing up, i am not a..complete... idiot... like half of it is proverbs, again, please comment!!)
