One Dark Rose

by darkheart   Feb 10, 2005

Who know this disintegrating, dark, decaying, rose?
So invisible, intoxicating, and interesting to one’s eyes,
Wisps of purple, perilous poison touches deep within one’s soul,
Writing, weakening, waiting, and wasting away to die.

It’s this felling that I call forbidden,
So carefully kept inside and hidden.
Never in the light will this be revealed.
Forever, shall this felling be concealed.

You hold my heart and keep it in your grasp,
Trying to find what’s underneath my mask.
Your eyes are as deep as the starless sky.
Daring, drawing, and luring me inside.

Your enchanting voice sounds so persuasive,
Giving me no choice, but not to resist.
For during this moment of much bliss,
Bewitched, I savor the taste of your lips.

Spellbound by the spell you wove around me.
Never will I be able to leave.
Thus, this story ends and begins again,
Know the story of once upon a dark rose…
