Afraid of affliction

by zachok   Feb 10, 2005

Drops of dew falling,
Pale faces in the shivering rain,
Will the sun ever shine again,
Will the darkness ever end,
Clouds run across the gray sky,
Blocking happiness leaving tears,
Loners left behind to cry,
Floating with fears,
Little things begin to creep in a haze,
Until it uplifts in your perception,
From what was once deception,
Liberated from a mind that was in a craze,
Crazed to pure hatred,
Afflicted with pain,
That could of left me dead,
As if lost in a jungle,
Fighting for a lost cause,
Missing in something that once was.
