The ball's in your court...

by Sarah-Louise   Feb 10, 2005

The ball's in your court,
Will you throw it back,
Or push it aside,
Or throw it off track.

The ball's in your court,
Will you watch it decay,
Will you leave it to suffer,
In the wind and the rain.

The ball's in your court,
Will you grip it so tight,
Will you hold it forever,
But still put up a fight.

The ball's in your court,
Will you bounce it back to me,
Will you share it, admire it,
Where we both can see.

The ball's in your court,
Do with it what you will,
No matter how you treat it,
I will love you still.
