We Have to Work This Out

by Marsha Brown   Feb 11, 2005

If I never ask anything else, please don't be mad at me.
I've been trying to figure out the changes and now I see.
I love U and I honestly want to be with U.
And I will do whatever I have to do to make my dream come true.
Please forgive me because I did not mean to hurt U.
Let's work things out cause I want to marry U Pooh.
Last night I tried so hard not to shed a tear.
But tears started flowing; not of laughter but tears of fear.
My heart was shattered, pieces laid out on my floor.
I hope I don't lose the one man I love and the only one I adore.
I know that words can only travel so far.
But I promise I'll make it up to U when U fix your car.
When I'm on the phone with U, I slip into another dimention.
Baby, please, if I did anything wrong, it wasn't my intention.
I guess U can say that I'm begging U not to leave me.
Cause I want for those white napkins to say, "Marsha and P."
I pray that we make it cause our love is stronger than this.
I am determined to marry U, have kids, and live in bliss.
