Da Block

by Marsha Brown   Dec 16, 2007

When I stepped outside and looked down the street.
All I saw was windows covered by sheets.
Its a poor society that we are living in today.
Some of the bills we can't even pay.
People trying to get jobs to earn a living.
The rest of us hoping that we make it through Thanksgiving.
Children going round claiming BD and VL
And by the time their 18, they might be locked up behind a cell.
Lord we need you in our presence today.
Take our hand Lord, and help us lead the way.
